The deep orange-red contrasts strikingly against the black background. The pattern is created with polymer clay, which is inlaid into the surface during the making process.
As with many of my designs i create one larger piece from which the individual pieces are cut, the final step which I really enjoy and carefully consider is to select two pieces that work well with each other, to create the perfect pair.
